Looking for something to do this weekend? Here are our top tips this week.
Local: Scaresville
During October at Kentwell Hall, a haunted village appears each night. Visitors to the village enter in small groups following a winding route through dark rooms, forests and farmland, lit only by candles and flares. The whole trip lasts one scary hour and booking, along with nerves of steel, are recommended!

National: Book It! Children's Book Festival
Alongside the adult book festival in Cheltenham, the Book It! Children's Book Festival celebrates the exciting world of children’s literature with over 100 events to suit every age and taste, from toddlers to teens. This includes readings, workshops and activities, quizzes and the chance to meet their favourite characters.

International: Copenhagen Night of Culture
Every year in October, Copenhagen throws its doors open after dark for visitors to explore the city's museums, galleries, libraries, exhibition halls, churches and theatres. The streets of the cities are also full of music, talks, performances and food stalls. A Kulturpasset, gives entry to the venues and free shuttle transport around the city.
