The book is beautifully illustrated, and has a lovely rhyming narrative to it. The pop outs are excellent, very quirky, and provide extra interest for the little ones. I thought it was an excellent book for pre-schoolers. I really loved the 7th pop up in particular, where a special x-ray machine shows the skeletons of all the animals in the old lady's tummy.
